What is the Update application status feature?
The Update application status feature is a tool used to ‘manually’ update the status of an application. This feature bypasses the need to go through the software configured and ‘automated' update status functionality.
Example: An application would automatically move from ‘Validating’ to ‘Information request’ by following the softwares steps and publishing a notice within each application.
Depending on your role and your organisation, you can only update the status of the application to certain statuses. Check with your Authorities software administrator to see what your configurations are.
Example: If you are in ‘Preparation’ status, you can’t update the application to ‘Information request’.
Who can use the Update application status feature for?
Only certain users within your organisation have access to use this feature. Check with your Authorities software administrator to see what your configurations are.
What do I use the Update application status feature for?
Use this feature to ‘manually’ update the application status from its current status to a new one. Read the Application Status user guides to understand how and why application move in and out of different statuses.
Where is the Update application status feature located?
The Update application status feature is located on the Applications dashboard. Located on top right of each individual application card.
How do I use the Update application status feature?
Navigate to the Applications dashboard .
Find the application you are updating the status of
Select the action icon (three dots) on the top right of the application card
Select Update status from the list. The Update application status feature will pop-up.
Select from the dropdown list the status you are updating to.
Select Save. The application will update.
