What is this status?

Public notification is an Authority status, where the authority can allocate applications to notify the project team that the application is commencing its Authority's legislative requirement of Public notification. Within this status, the Authority can complete an assessment of the development application and request further advice from the Applicant if required.

The relevant Applicant development application information is automatically populated and material into a customised workflow. The irrelevant applicant information is automatically filtered out, allowing the Authority to focus on their assessment of the application.

How do applications move into this status?

Only the Authority can change the status of the application to Public notification status. The Applicant must request this of the Authority outside of the software via the Authority's standard processes.

The Authority can move applications into the Public notification status by manually updating the status of the application via the Update Application Status.

How do applications move out of this status?

Once the Authority's legislative requirement of Public notification has been completed, the Authority can move the application into the appropriate status, by manually updating the status of the application via the Update Application Status.
