Accepted development status reports can be completed for your client.

A feature has been created that specifically deals with the required outcomes (RO's). This feature allows the user to respond to each RO in detail and generates as a table within Part 5 Local planning assessment of the report.

This feature only appears based on the category of assessment made at the Categories step. It only appears when your highest category of assessment is identified as Accepted or Accepted subject to requirements.

This feature is located at the Reporting step in the Codes section. For the user's convenience, the feature sits above the Assessable development benchmarks (PO’s and AO’s) of the same code, keeping all parts of the same code in the one section.

How to complete if accepted development (accepted and accepted subject to requirements)

  1. Starting at the Codes section of the Reporting step, view the applicable code by selecting the View code feature in the top right corner of the screen OR select the expand button to open in another window.

  2. Scroll through the code RO’s and identify how many RO’s there are.

  3. Use the Add button to the right of the feature to add the identified amount of RO’s in the code.

  4. Once added, select the first RO to expand, the following are required to be identified:

    • the subject of the RO;

    • if the proposal is compliant to the RO and;

    • a discussion of compliance (if applicable).

If possible, we recommend having the code open on another window/screen to easily add the subject and identify compliance.

  1. Once you have completed the first RO, mark complete to keep track of your tasks.

  2. If your proposal is compliant with all of the RO’s, use the ‘Answer all PO & AO’ feature to answer the assessable development benchmarks as not applicable (Note: The code templates will always append to your report).

  3. Complete the same process for other codes if required.

  4. Once you have completed your assessment against the RO’s, they will populated in a table format in Part 5 Local planning assessment of the report.

How to complete if assessable development (accepted subject to requirements elevated to code)

As per the Local government planning scheme, if not compliant with the RO, the user is then subject to assessment against the assessable development benchmarks of the same subject matter. The application is then elevated to code assessable and requires submission to the applicable local government.

  1. If one or more of the RO’s are identified as being not compliant, the category of assessment will be automatically updated to being ‘Accepted subject to requirements elevated to code’ and updates to be reflected throughout the report.

Before responding to the PO/AO of the same subject matter, use the Answer all PO & AO feature to address the rest of the Assessable development benchmarks as Not applicable first.

  1. The user is then simply required to scroll through the code below, navigate to the PO/AO of the same subject matter and respond.

  2. Complete the same process for other codes if required.

  3. Once you have completed your assessment against the RO’s, they will populated them in table format in Part 5 Local planning assessment of the report.
