What is this status?
Change review is an Authority status, where the Authority can complete an assessment of the changes made to a development application.
The software automatically identifies to the Authority what the changes are to the application and populates the relevant Applicant development application information and material into a customised workflow.
The irrelevant applicant information is filtered out, allowing the Authority to focus on their preliminary assessment of the application.

Once the application has been selected for review, the application will automatically be moved into Validating status.
Once the Authority has completed their review of the summary of changes of the application in Validating status, there are two statuses the application could progress to;
Based on the types of changes, the authority may choose to keep the application in Validating status and complete another preliminary assessment.
Based on the types of changes, the Authority may choose to move the application back into the status that the application was in prior to the applicant requesting the application go on hold. This could be any other Authority status. The Authority can move applications by manually updating the status of the application via the Update Application Status.
