You can find the relevant proposal details above each category determination.

Add button

Use the ‘Add’ button to add another categorising instrument, applicable to the application. The software will ask you to categorise the proposal against the new item.

Refresh button

Use the refresh button if you have changed any application, development or proposal details. These details have the potential to affect which categorising instruments are displayed at this step. This will ensure you are accurately assessing the application and proposal details against the most up-to-date and accurate categorising instruments.

Instructions (End-to-end)

  1. Select the first categorising instrument item on the left navigation pane.

  2. Read the local authorities categorising instrument in the middle pane.

  3. Review the applicants response to the Local authorities categorising instrument.

  4. Select the relevant Authority assessment to the Categorising item. To learn more about Key Assessment Functionality read this article.

  5. Once you have completed all the items on the right, select the next categorising instrument on the left navigation pane and complete the assessment.

  6. Select Save & Proceed to progress to the next step.

  4. Select the relevant Authority assessment to the Categorising item. To learn more about Key Assessment Functionality read this article.

  5. Once you have completed all the items on the right, select the next categorising instrument on the left navigation pane, add in the Applicant answer to the category designation and complete the assessment.

  6. Select Save & Proceed to progress to the next step.
